Dr. Huang is a Maryland native and joined Saint Agnes Hospital in November 2018 after over 23 years in private practice. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he was awarded first place for oral presentation at Medical Student research day for his work at the National Institutes of Health. He completed his internship in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at NYU Winthrop University hospital where he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, he was awarded a certificate of merit for a scientific exhibit at the annual RSNA meeting. He completed his fellowship in musculoskeletal and body MRI at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. During his fellowship, he presented his MRI research at the RSNA and ARRS annual meetings.
Dr. Huang has a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging, particularly MR arthrography. He also has a vast amount of experience in Women’s imaging including mammography as well as cross-sectional imaging of female pelvic/gynecologic ailments. He also has extensive experience with multiparametric prostate MRI examinations in the evaluation of prostate cancer. Furthermore, he has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
